Sassafras albidum

Sassafras (Sassafras albidum) is a small tree with fun leaf shapes. It has small fruit that attract birds and is the host plant for the spicebush swallowtail (Papilio troilus), tiger swallow-tail and Promethea Silkmoth (Callosamia promethea). In addition, it has beautiful fall foliage.
