Description:

Aquatic plant, long stalked fleshy shield-shaped leaves, grows in a colony, slow growth, 2-3 ft tall, perennial, bight green.

Habitat:

Along shallow waterways, appears in large colonies. Wetlands, swamps.

Foliage:

Shield-shaped lobed leaves on top bright green clustered stalks. 

Flowers & Berries:

Yellow spatix with greenish white covering emerges from the cluster of leaves, with black berries to follow.
